Hello, it's Tom!
I'm an Israeli moshavnik who somehow ended up in Portugal four years ago. I love good food. I love people. I love stories. And I love showing visitors the Portugal that made me fall in love with this country.
If you're looking for a standard tour, a group of 30 people, and a fixed itinerary... I'm probably not the right person for you. There are plenty of those already. But if you're looking for a day built around you, then we should talk.
So What Do I Actually Do?
Honestly? I help people fall in love with Portugal.
Sometimes that's through hidden beaches and breathtaking views. Sometimes it's through food, wine and local stories. Sometimes it's through Jewish history. Sometimes it's simply about slowing down and spending a great day exploring.
Every experience is different. Because every guest is different.
My job is to build a day that feels like it was made specifically for you.

Lisbon
From the winding alleys of Alfama and the forgotten story of Jewish Lisbon, to the lively streets of downtown and the maritime legacy of Belém.

Portugal's student city.
A grand old university, a library that looks straight out of a movie, narrow lanes climbing to the top of the hill, and fado that sounds like nowhere else in the country.
Hidden Portugal
Black coffee brewed in the middle of nowhere. Scenic back roads. Jeep adventures. Atlantic sunsets. And the hidden places that made me fall in love with Portugal in the first place.
The Wild Arrábida natural Reserve
Turquoise waters. Dramatic cliffs. Hidden beaches.
One of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe - and a place many tourists (and even many Portuguese) never get to experience properly.
Journey to the past
Small villages that seem frozen in time. Local cafés where everyone knows each other. Vineyards, farms and rural landscapes that feel untouched by the modern world.
Nature, nature, nature

Serra da Estrela
The roof of Portugal. Peaks, green valleys, mountain streams, little villages and a cheese you won't be able to stop eating. In winter, with a bit of luck, there's snow too. And on the way, we can stop in Belmonte, the town where Crypto-Jews secretly kept their traditions alive for centuries.
Food (and drinks!)
Portugal is best experienced around a table. Fresh fish. Local restaurants. Long lunches. Hidden gems. And plenty of food along the way.
I can't promise you'll love everything. But I can promise you won't go hungry.
Jewish Heritage
Few people realise how Jewish Portugal once was.
Long before the Inquisition, Jewish communities helped shape the country's economy, culture and intellectual life.
Together we'll explore one of the most fascinating and often forgotten chapters of Jewish history - from the golden age of Portuguese Jewry to the New Christians, the Inquisition and the traces that remain today.

I grew up in a small moshav in Israel, where people know their neighbors and where hospitality is simply part of life.
Four years ago, I arrived in Portugal. What was supposed to be a temporary adventure somehow turned into a second home.
Today, I spend my time helping travelers discover the country through local eyes. Through real experiences.
I don't really see myself as a tour guide. I'm more of a host. A local friend who happens to know Portugal very well.

Over the past few years, I've guided thousands of Israeli visitors across Lisbon and beyond. I know what surprises people. What excites them. What is worth seeing. And what is worth slowing down for.
